somebody pron. ①某人，一个人(通常指没有提到过的或是不知姓名的人，较通俗，多用于口语) ②重要人物，有分量的人

经典例句Never believe somebody on his bare word. 人言无据，切勿轻信。

词汇辨析somebody,some one, someone：

somebody 通常指没有提到的或不知名的人；

some one 某人，某事(必须与of短语连用，指其中的人或物之一)；

someone 某人，一个人，有人(与somebody基本相同，只能用来代替人，没有独立意义)。

一句双雕Somebody should have told me, but actually nobody .

应该有人告诉我才是，可事实上没人（告诉我）。

Boil
