    *palate 是口盖、上颚之意。还有合乎口味的意思。

    16） She served a flavorous stew to her friends.她招待朋友香喷喷的炖肉。

    17） The milk in the refrigerator has begun to turn sour.冰箱里的牛奶开始腐败了。

    18） What should this sandwich be seasoned with？

    这些三明治该加些什么调味品好？

    *flavor：指独特的味道、气味。

    savour：指专有味道以外的气味，风味。

    smack：香味、气味、臭味（还有毒品海洛因的意思）。
