　　近义词之间的区别在于词的内涵不同……如，汉语中的"错误"对应着英语中的mistake和fault， 但两个词的内涵不一样， mistake单纯指所犯的错误，而fault则侧重于追究责任。

　　Whose fault is it that we're late？ 我们迟到是谁的错？（责任在谁）

　　有的近义词之间的区别在于词性不同或在句子中的用法不同。
